Trials Anyone?

I'm interested in getting into trials but I can't seem to find any info up here, anyone know anything?

Look at those smart handsome young men scouting out the course. It was my first time riding one. Fun! Someday I'd like to have one. Are they cheap? Do they come with a video (or DVD) offering tips on more advance riding technique?

I quickly realized these are all gas gas gas. Damn, I was exhausted after 10 minutes. I didn't even get my merit badge signed off.

I have a '99 Scorpa that I've been riding in my yard for a few years, over ever increasingly large obstacles that have been concocted from stuff (trash).

Does anyone know of an at least sort-of legal riding area that would be challenging for semi-incompetent middle aged wanna be's?

Knik river/Jim Creek is pretty close. Sold my Bultaco's about 3 years ago,.... but willing to give it a hack on my KLR

I always wanted to take a trials bike up the 4 wheeler/sled trial at the end of Shrock road that goes over the top of Baldy mountain. And Eureka woud bea hoot-I rode the Old Man creek trail on the Pegaso but that was really not the best bike for it. Sutton/Jonesville could be fun too, the old strip mines are challenging, well, challenging on a Pegaso.

hmmmmm...anybody got a project trials... or anything close? winter is still long
