Thanks Shane, I reckon that you could knock a good one up (given adequate time)

On the other hand, I don't trust my fabrication skills (unless I can make one from wood )

IGH, I have a Polymate, mate, but we head to FNQ later in the year & I'd rather not tow a trailer 3000km.

Also I reckon that it would be easier to take the bike to rides on my own as the polymate is quite high & the plastic floor is super slippy. Makes loading the bike a bit tricky...
