I'd like to buy a side stand base enlarger, AKA fat foot. I've tried the Touratech, AltRider, and Wunderlich. NO, they do not fit the new F700. Does anyone know of one tht fits. The Camel Toe one is a riot!.

I could make my own like I did for my R1150R but,I don't to. Wahhh!

Forget it. SoloMoto makes one specifically for the 700.

    That would be ours!

Thanks, and you got the best one anyhow :deal

I'm a little confused about some of the info out there though so I'm going to try to sort this out for everybody:
The F700 GS has the same side stand as the F650 GS twin. At least certainly the ones I've installed ours on.
The F800 GS is the same for all years. The exception here is that the new for 2013 F800 GS factory lowered (suspension) is the same as the F700 GS/F650 GS (twin). Same height bike too.

In our case we make two different versions.
    1. F800 GS all years, but not factory lowered 2013 F800 GS...just so happens it fits the Husqvarna TR650 Terra too
    2. F700 GS/ F650 GS (twin) all years & 2013 F800 GS factory lowered

    Thanks,

    Dave

Nice. I was told the Wunderlich wouldn't fit. I actually went to Touratech and AltRider and tried theirs. I shouldn't believe everything I hear. That Wunderlich is very nice looking. I'll post a photo of the SoloMoto one when I get it.

    FYI...

If you have anything thicker than a stock seat an AltRider luggage rack wont work either unless you add spacers and longer hardware.

Lets see a pic of that SoloMoto deal! What other goodies do they have? :D

I have been farkling my bike at Touratech in Seattle. Whatta toy store! They have a list of things that are not suppose to fit my F700 from the F650/800 catalog pages. I bought the front and back ABS guards, they fit, the oil filter and cooler guard, it fits. The smaller bash plate, it fits. The inner rear wheel slpash guard from Maier, it fits. The rear luggage rack (plate) and it fits too. I love Touratech and the eople who work there are great. I'm going to get the crash guards next. The only thing that didn't fit was the handguards for either the F650 or 800. So I bought some cheap ones at Cycle Gear for $20 that work great at keeping the cold wind at bay.

Altrider in Seattle is another awesome farkling dream store. Beautiful products. After seing the quality of the SoloMoto (M.O.D.)stuff I'll be buying more gear from them in the future.

So how do I post photos? Do I have to have Smugmug or some other type of photo sharing site?
