To hack the ASO mainframe... HOW f5-ing cool would THAT be...!!!??? instant f5 legendary status for the one who cracks it!
Every now and then, playing with the dakar.com URLs, I end up at a password prompt. So far, they didn't fall for "admin" and "1234".
Or guest and password or Test and test, etc... Been there and tried a milllion combinations. Also at the IriTrack site too when I get to that prompt.
The POSIS vulcan/iritrack at dakar.com seems to be a "work in progress" just at the moment... We remain confident (ummm... optimistic... hopeful? ) that it will be up for SS1... hey they got a couple of hours up there sleeve... and it's only 13 km's... how hard could it be?
If these are French acronyms then, generally Debuter (sp?) is French for inception or to begin and Accomplir generally means to accomplish or finish Just guessing.
There does not seem to be any TV coverage in Canada, Speed and the other stations are really slipping in the last few years.
Yes thanks Doyle. Great insight into the scoring aspects. Helped me to clear up some of my assumptions about the whole operation.
We forgot about this, this year. Bumpity for the pledges from this year, and keep this pinned for next year!
It was posted as a link on the first page of cliff notes and the f5irehose again this year also... just not a stickied thread... In the "what can we do better" thread one inmate asked about a Q/A type thread, for questions about rules etc. (that pop up in the official coverage f5irehose) - which I thought was a good idea. So I kinda thought'a wondered if for next year, we could revamp the following DAKAR 101 timing & scoring thread idea and include a Q/A thread which a couple of panel members could answer... Anders Green already put his hand up (when I charitably mentioned it and he volunteered himself... ).
The question that is often asked this year He is in, he got a start time next day. He has a start time, he is going to start. Riding futher under disqualification and appeal not going over the podium. Do you need to record conversation with the aso to stand better in appeal.
