Is there a trail map to be found online? On site? At the convenience store?

Theres a map on the bouqet side, and one in staging area 1, the ranger usually sits in his truck in staging area 1, hit em up for a free map, theres only one way to enter/exit from sierra, and 4 ways to enter/exit from boquet.

Thanks! Any easy to moderate trail recommendations for someone on a heavy bike with 80/20 tires?

Are you looking to get into the trails or just do fire roads? the easy trails out there are makred blue, but some of the blue trails have some pretty hard sections, sometimes harder then the black diamond stuff, you can do a nice mostly fire road ride from sierra, then exit from bouqet at artesian road, and enter drink water flats from boquet, some more nice fire roads over there, let me know if you want me to show you around over there, i stay away from the really hard stuff out there.

Ark Trail is easy. that's just before the Stage 1 on the right.
Buffer Loop and Fall Canyon Rd (forest road) are easy.

Im not sure, theres never anybody in DWF to check, lol :D

But my bike is plated, cause i like to get in from one spot and exit from another, and i ride the bike to Rowher/DWF, theres also lots and lots of riding across DWF and at the San Francisquito side, that takes you to lake hughes, so you can do a mainly fire road (one black diamond section in DWF going downhill) from Sierra Hwy all the way to Lake Hughes, its about 50 miles, then you can ride back home on pavement.

Im going there today for a bit, let me know if you ever want, i can show you this route.

Hey Clutch . . . you thinking about Rowher tomorrow? Just got my 250 back together . . . actually had her apart and back together on Thursday, then again on Friday, and yet again today . . . had an issue with my exhaust flange not sealing properly and leaking coolant into the cylinder . . . good times!!! After quite a bit of convincing, and black boogers from the metal grinding/polishing, I seem to be back in business. I'd love to get out for a ride ASAP, after missing the one I was supposed to go to today!
