Anyone want to join me for a birthday ride this Friday at Pawnee? I'll be trailering from Lyons with room for 2 more bikes if interested.

Do you know if the snow has melted there yet???? Maybe after today's warm temps, it will dry up there.

Do not know, but considering how it looks around Boulder/Lyons and the temps today and tmrw, i'm guessing it should be ridable.

Hey Scott- I cant do Pawnee, but I am heading to the Springs with my co-worker. Seems we have a bit (and I mean small amount:evil) of work in the city then down to PPIR to ride dirt bikes for the rest of the day :D. Hmmm, right off the trip, ride moto's and it's my Birthday! Anyone looking to join we will be there around 11 or so. Should be fun!

Happy Birthday Scott! What time you thinking on Saturday?

Are you talking about riding in the draw OHV area or exploring around? If exploring, I might be up for Saturday, probably not up for riding the draw though.

Since I've never ridden there, it's all exploration for me so no matter. If there's an area you want to check out, I'm game. I plan on leaving Lyons by 7:30 Saturday morning and being there around 9. Hopefully this wind will peter out by then. wow.

There's a slight chance that I'll be able to meet you all out there at the OHV - let me know if your plans change.

Is a pisser. You need an OHV sticker to ride the OHV area - per the posted signage. And all the forest roads around the site require a plate.

Might be up for riding around. The Pawnee camping ride is the following weekend.

If I bring my new GoPro, will you promise to tip over or do some other sort of stupid human tricks for the camera?

I see they aren't mentioning the 437mph breezes we are having out here .:lol3 A little more than high winds in my opinion.

We don't wanna scare the tourists away .

Never heard of an ohv being required if you are plated. Is this new or are we misinterpreting the intent of the sign? I have a plated XR650r that I've never been questioned on and cannot see buying an ohv sticker for!

    Hi Scott,

Only 260mph here on Sugarloaf. Just back from 3 weeks riding in CA. CO sucks this time of year. 6" more snow from last night here...

there are several other threads with that debate and you are welcome to read and join in.

For the purposes of this thread - the posted signage specifically states that all vehicles in the draw are required to have an OHV sticker. Do with it what you want.
