This has more to do with UK pricing than anything else. Take a piece of Microsoft software that is US $79, it is UK £79($128) but € 63 ($81) yet that same piece of software is $43 list price in Chinese Renminbi. It is all to do with local markets, taxing and other costs. Why pretty much anything in the UK is higher than elsewhere, who knows but it can't be that subsidies are provided on everything.

Wow, $16k for a $10-11k bike. I guess that free government healthcare isn't as free as it sounds.

I think the Metzeler Feel Free Wintec would be a better choice.

I have discovered that each Max BMW store will have a demo 650GT by late October or early November. I am awaiting the order confirmation and VIN.

Huntington Beach yesterday on pacific coast hwy. red 650gt best described as quick. Called my dealer this morning, were first to get one, she was surprised as release date end of month. Few calls later it appears motorcycle mags have a couple out for testing review. Nice looking scoot

US pricing for the scoots

Anyone near inner harbor baltimore tomorrow will see about two dozen, dealer introduction

Our local dealer in Sacramento is reporting early November delivery...

San Jose BMW has theirs and a demo.

They are ready for delivery here in Mexico. Too expensive for a scooter don't care if it's BMW or whatever, for $500 uds you can get a 2012 F800GS or a F800R and get some change.
$12300 usd. for the C600 Sport
$12700 usd. for the C650 GT

If they were "real" BMWs they might be worth their high price, but they are Kymcos with a BMW badge. Maybe I should put Vespa badges on my Stella and double it's value.

If they were real BMWs, we'd be talking about expected issues now.
This is a win/win situation.
