I have a 2010 KTM 690R and want to ditch the cheap plastic bark busters. The bar ends have threaded inserts. I like it, but seems most aftermarket come with the split sleeve insert so may need to take them out if I can't find a new set to fit? How do you remove the inserts?
so, don't use the split inserts if you have stock bars, just use a bolt. Bars are bars, hollow or with threaded ends, they take just about all hand guards made for 1 1/8.
