Dang, trailer brakes not working. This will be slow going.

Clean the hookup on your van, they corrode quick.

Hitting the road five minutes after this coffee does what it is supposed to do.

Porcupines tonight, detour to the Keewanaw tomorrow on the way to the rally, should be in eagle river mid-day.

Mud is insignificant. Ride it, you'll like it.

I just did a little compilation out of curiousity.

I've got just under 2,000 miles of dual sport ride tracks available to ride based out of the rally site. This does not include street rides. There is something for nearly every dual sport bike and level of skill.

My personal order of preference for day rides:

    1. Northern Highland - American Legion State Forest (Part of CNNF file). A great route for both novice and skilled riders. Sporty.

    2. Petonga. A full day of great very twisty pavement, rolling and turning forest roads, and excellent two tracks.

    3. Ottawa. A run up into the Ottawa NF that takes in some dim forest paths with some tree hopping along the way. (There may have been a few people cussing me for a moment or two while on this one, but they were all pretty happy after it was over.) :lol3

If you ride nothing else, ride the Northern Highland.

    Download tracks here.

Special thanks to 9Dave for hosting the download site for me (since I can't upload to ADV) - very generous.

    I don't think so.

He was only a colonel, not a sargeant-major.

Let me just throw this out there to everyone heading to Eagle River this weekend! I am in the process of MAYBE upgrading the dual sport and wondering if there is any interest in a 2003 Yamaha WR450F Plated. It has been uncorked and has Cyrcra Bark Busters, Guts Soft seat foam, Vapor computer and has seen great maintenance. I also replaced chain and sprockets about 300 miles ago and have about 100 miles on a recent re-valve by KB5 Industries for woods riding with about 180# rider! The bike is in St. Germain so all ya ADVer's are close by!

    Any interest???

Open to realistic offers! Don't wanna give it away but not out to hose anyone! How does $2,800 sound?

If interested just PM me. I should have probably put this in the classifieds but you know everyone is in Eagle and I got an itch!
