After take this new route, the road became little more full of loose small gravel, and on one slope, all I can see is Andres Dancing Tango with his bike:

this is the last picture my camera took,

after the pic, I jumped to help Andres, and did not turned off the camera, so the zoom lens were open, and at the time to lift the bike, I did crushed the lens against my chest and the bike. :cry

this one was taken with Ricardo's

and the next ones are from Ricardo's camera, I borrowed to him to try to keep the report, but unfortunately very long after, so I missed severa wonderful views when we climbed to some high altitudes and the forrest started to show up, several trees, a very pleasant smelling of the pines.

so here are the last pics of this great short ride:

a short break to revise the oil level of my thirsty bike.

here we stoped for a while, since Andre's bike needed some chain adjustment.
And in the mean time we met the owner of the house and we got an invitation to stay the next time we were around. Very nice people.

Unfortunately I do not have the gps points, but probably Pilot815 may have them, he was using his GPS all the time as well.

When are you returning to ride in México?

    Regards

My spanish is that bad aye?

It will be a few months at least. Hoping things will cool off a bit. Plan is to bring a few 4x4 trucks down there. If I recall, aren't you into the 4x4 scene too? Since you are in the mix of it all, how real is the danger down there, for the random tourists?

    saludos!

Pointing at the approximate area on Googlemaps would work just as fine!

    Thanks guys.

Ok i think i found it. I found the cascada ancon and that was all right there together. The coordinates are:

    N 25 09'13.81"
    W 100 09'17.98"

Im not sure that there is enough room to get a lot of 4x4 trucks in there though for overnight, but maybe so.

Efrain has done it on his 4x4. He knows pretty good that route. He is the one on the green KLR of my previous Mexico Artega Mountains RR.

Arte, nice pictures and a good report. Mr. Avendaño, I think you drank too many coronas thats why your motorcycle went horizontal.
Thank you for the posting of those beautiful places. I know those places riding with Mr. Patoloco

Actually I broke my camera when lifting Andres' bike. It was hanging on my neck and it got pressed against the bike pannier and the lens got broken. :lol3
