I only stated what it costs me at the ADAC and what it cost me through Knopf in 2005.

All that being said, were I to extend my ride and need to get additional insurance while in-country, I would definitely drop by the local ADAC office to get it.

It's worth a few bucks for the initial hit for the convenience of having my bike ready to roll when I get there.
