I have heard any airport can be a good spot to park/stage. The smaller places are cheap too. Maybe Bishop, or Mammoth?

A place like Law's Museum might apprciate a few $$ and allow you to park in their lot across the street from them in Bishop. Just thinking outloud here. Tom's Place might be another.

I found a place to put the truck, Browns Millpond campground. The will let me park it in a trailer storage area for 2 bucks a night......

Is that a different place than the Browns everyone camps at for WMRS? Brown's Owens River Campground? Anyway, I thought they were closing for the season, but maybe that's just the campground. I'm pretty sure the owners/managers live onsite.

    Good deal for sure.
