That's some promising information. Thanks. How many miles have you put on it? I'm not sure what my hang up is with this issue, but it is.
    I'm still researching it.

I have 44,000 miles on my Super Tenere and run the 89 octaine that is 10 percent ethynol, I have run 87 if I had too and it runs just as good.
I do try Premium once and a while to see if I can tell any differance, It all runs the same.

I've run regular in mine and can't tell the difference (Kalifornia water mind you). Lately I have been adding Fuel-Med RX for no particular reason but to try it out and they say it helps guard against Ethanol corrosion. Still no difference.

Maybe Jaxon should make a special Aluminium, milk crate just for the Tenere.

so do you still have the KLR? I have an 05 and love it, the wife does not like it for too long (over 250 miles) she mentions it is to cramp back there... it wasn't 50 lbs ago (40 me and 10 her) lol!!!

Thanks to you now I am looking at this bike, but I know I can't afford it and that is ok for now.
