Edgy drifter & I came in from the Detroit side yesterday, and farted around the Bagby hot springs area. Checked the map & tried to take USFS 2010 over to Evans mtn road, but our fuel situation turned us back. Attempted to take 224 into Estacada for gas & beer. Came across a flashing road closed sign - it was unmanned so of course we blew past it. Ten miles later they had a bridge blocked, forcing us to turn around. Did not actually see any smoke or actual fire. Limped back into Detroit on fumes.....
What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

"With the lifting of these restrictions, campfires are now allowed for dispersed camping, and OHV use is also allowed under normal regulations forest-wide. Along with lifting fire restrictions, the Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) in all four units has dropped to level I."
