I had a great time this year. Glad I took Friday off to attend the whole shebang. Awesome stickers and great company around the fire. Thanks to all who goes puts in the effort to organize the event. :clap

Best site at the campground if you don't mind gale force winds. :D Got lucky with a warm night Saturday. Slept like a baby, or maybe I was unconscious.

Too bad all I had was my phone. Looking toward Yarmouth.

I like it so far :D After this weekend, I have 11000miles on the clock & its never missed a beat. Easy to work on, once you get all the plastic off. Its a great 80/20 type bike. Mostly use it for camping trips like this past weekend, or with the wife as pillion & take all our camping gear. We did 6 days to Ithaca, NY on it this summer & it was rock steady.

I've taken it on some fire & logging roads in NH by the White Mtns. Not much dirt in the Boston area. I also have a XT225 so that see more of the real offroading.

I really like the ease of the Strom. I do love a 1200gs, one day I suppose. Something to look forward to when I get old like the other FF's. :lol3

Hey, a quick follow up for those of you who heard my saga of the dead battery on Saturday AM. White Horse Gear just credited me back the full price that I paid them for the battery 13 months ago :D (I thought that it was only 8 until I found the receipt :deal ). So for any of you FF's that might be thinking about buying something from them, they're the real deal.

I didn't realize I whipped out my wee when "Knobbed" friday night. Sorry about that.

I was born with it, seems to be of above average size, can't complain. Doesn't need medication yet to work, that's a bonus.

Used to get it dirty a lot before I got married. Now I only get it dirty when the wife drinks a lot.

After the way we were treated at Buck's this year I and many others feel that we should no longer patronize their business. So I have been doing a little thinking, chatted with a few of the guys over the weekend and talked with EC this week. It seem's I have set myself up as the default "Friday night dinner guy" so I am thinking of moving dinner back in camp.

Here is what I am thinking, I will rent a couple large charcoal grills to cook steaks and maybe chicken if any of you FF's don't eat red meat. Then us locals can make some cold salads potato/macaroni/green. I will keep the menu simple if people don't like what is on the menu then bring your own. Everyone would need to bring there own plates and utensils as well as beverages. I can set everything up Friday afternoon to have dinner that evening. Come next fall I can figure out the cost and logistics and we will do a paypal type prepay for dinner only.

So what do you think :ear
