= .strike memory from me .cease my dreams .let all time pass until an end .overwrite me - .cover unsolicited recollection .cart off misguided want .let a blankness come - .be nothing .the asstronought - .go. My first GP @ Silverstone, and a popular win for Watson, having climbed up from his delay in the Villeneuve hop skip and jump over the ridiculous but required chicane. I seem to recall being sat a couple of stands in on the entry to Woodcote that year?, with Gilles spin consisting of a huge cloud of smoke to my front left quarter. On the other hand I also have an equally clear memory of seeing him pull off on the inside of Stowe? (as @ 3.10 in ) Both recollections can't be right can they... Either way I'm reminded IO always enjoyed the commentary of Hunt. If the 1st were right I'd be in this end of the ESSO stand below... If the latter were correct then this is GV on his way thru/ough Becketts on the way to pulling off 2 corners later in front of me @ Stowe. Perhaps I'm mixing it up with the Henton shunt below, which came at the end of one of the practice sessions, I think on the Saturday, and for which I was definitely @ Woodcote. NB - The Hunt GV photog may not be from Silverstone '81, and I really can't be bothered to search out whether it is, but to me at least it seems to be, though it may not be as I suspect the decal on GVs Simpson suit don't match the year in question, but then maybe they do? PS/Edit - On reflection I guess I must have been at Woodcote for the race (scenario 1) because I have a memory of seeing De Angelis do the J'Accuse flounce off shown in the thumbnail of the 1st video? Perhaps this was one of the early years where they ran big screens & I saw GV retire @ Stowe remotely?

Sorry, I guess this is more of a comment on how I might aspire to improve my circumstance than a referral to your options for acquisition.
