Many thanks to all the inmates who helped with reading/reviewing the first two Jericho Quinn novels.
The third, STATE OF EMERGENCY, is on the shelves, and the fourth will release in February.
Though they're mainstream Adventure/Thrillers, I try to weave in motorcycles and the riding culture the way Clive Cussler weaves scuba diving into his books. In doing so I rely heavily on help from other riders, including inmates here at ADVrider.
Ted Johnson was kind enough to answer a number of questions regarding his experiences at the Dakar. His awesome book, TALES FROM THE BIVOUAC--proved to be invaluable while I was working on STATE OF EMERGENCY.

So, here's the deal. My publisher sent me ten (10) copies to sign and send to the first ten who let me know they're interested on this thread.
I'll mail them to you at my expense.
In return, if you like the book, talk it up to your friends via Facebook, other threads, etc.

    Much appreciated,
    Marc

Marc, you were kind enough to send me an advance copy of your first book, and I bought the second. While it's not my usual genre, I thoroughly enjoyed them both. They're well written with great plots, taut and suspenseful, and I really enjoyed the characters. If you end up with a few more copies, I'd love one. Otherwise, I'll wait until February and pick one up. Great work!

Thanks for the kind words about the books. I'm sure I'll end up with an extra one of these so I can send you a copy. It's already on the shelves. The fourth book comes out in February. I'll do a giveaway promo on ADVrider for that one when I get the review copies.
    Stay safe,
    Marc

Thanks for your interest. The books are in the mail.
Like I said, if you like them, talk them up to your friends. If not...well, use them to level a table or something...

I'll be doing a similar offer with advance reader copies of the next Jericho Quinn Adventure, TIME OF ATTACK, out if February.

And now, I think I'll go ride the Alaska Highway (and work on book #5).

Marc, I just finished your book National Security on my Kindle. All I can say is: Keep writing, it was excellent!!! I've been an avid reader since I was a kid, I've read everything from Pearl S. Buck to Louis L'amour to Tom Clancy. I found your book by chance, I really like that type of book, anything with a military or CIA character in it works for me. Think Jack Reacher or Mitch Rapp. Your character Jericho Quinn works for me. Using the adventure bikes, or any motorcycles in the story lines makes the books that much better. Well done, sir. Keep writing please. Signed, a big fan. :D

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you found the books and are enjoying them.
    I'm working on # 5 now.
Just did a bit of unintentional research earlier today about what it was like slide down the shoulder of the Alaska HWY on my GS... Motorhome 1, Marc's BMW 0. I walked, road away from it, minus a mirror and some plastic parts, with only a sore pinkie finger...so I'm chalking it up to research for crash scenes in future books.......
