fancy editing...everyone know that isn't possible on an overpriced street bike... the 1190 is for going to starbucks and that is all.

p.s. makes me want to go back to Utah!!

We all know the bike's on board computers did all the work...
You probably pre-programmed the route into he GPS using Google Earth and just had to sit there and enjoy the ride.

    Thanks for sharing.

The only time I stopped was at that step down and 45 degree step up. And yes, I kept it upright because I couldn't stand the thought of scratching up my $17k bike:cry The bike is so well balanced at slow speeds it kinda acts like a trials bike. Now that may be a stretch, but it does handle very, very, well for 530lbs. I cant wait to go back:wink:

Many thoughts came to mind. The first was "he mounted crash bars on a 450". Then "he's crazy" . Finally " Wow, nice job". You are a better man than I. And younger. I think those mt bikers cheated at the ledge. They shouldn't be allowed to walk. Really nice job. Thanks for the video.:clap

Nice. I was there last week on my 400XCW and that 45 degree ledge got me on the way up. It took me 3 tries. I talked with some other moto riders and they said there was a cheater line for motos to the left. I saw it but wanted to do the "right" route. I was thinking if I took my 950 up there, I might use that cheater line.

Actually on slik rock knobbies are a disadvantage! So extra kudos to doing it _with_ knobbies! Great riding.

As for that "cheater line" it doesnt look doable to me on the Big Dog. Uphill in deep sand and soft dirt. The only thing going for it is the "soft" soil part:-). Crap! What am I doing? That line sounds like a good challenge and I've never been one for backing down from one. So, Im going to roost out there in a month or so and try that "cheater" line!

I didn't ride it so I can't say if it's easier or not. The other moto guys/gal suggested it. They were sitting like vultures at what you labeled the "ugly" section. It wasn't seeming too bad on the 400 until I ran out of fuel right where your buddy bobbled it. I was running on the rear auxillary tank so it was a bit tricky :eek1 holding the bike in place and reaching down to turn on the main tank.
