Any of you guys affected by the warehouse fire at the Port Authority? Looks bad.

No. No threat to us. Folks downtown probably aren't to happy this morning, waking up to a nice layer of burnt rubber all over everything. I am curious as to how it started.

Was a good breakfast this morning. Need to get out more. Be glad when this weather starts getting more conducive for riding

Just a note to those of you I have met through this thread and the forum, "Thank you" for the pleasure of your company and advice. I really appreciate all the contact I have had with such a wonderful bunch of people whether it be through the forums, PMs, the Ride to Eats, feedback from my trip posts, or phone calls to chat. It truly has been a great experience to be a fellow rider.
However, the time has come in my life to get off the bikes. My expectations from cars on the road is so far from their behavior I can no longer justify the risks at this age.

Lord, I have no easy answer to that question. Just a realization that it was time. For me.

Well, I certainly respect your decision. I hate to hear it because I have really enjoyed your ride reports. But it is a CRAZY world out there now as compared to just a few years ago. I wish you the best at your next hobby! Be safe at it & Grin Big! ( you can still drive the cage to our eats!)

You can't get rid of us that easy. we KNOW where you live lol. I'm sure you have your reasons and if this is what's best for you then by all means it's the right thing to do. Keep in touch, come join us for lunch or dinner sometimes, always a place in the group for you.

Something to think about. Any of you hooligans out there in ADV land who may be interested, Fordhams in statesboro serves up a pretty good breakfast. Was thinking maybe Saturday or Sunday morning may be a good time to meet. Weather forecast right now says 20% chance of getting wet. I can live with those odds if y'all can. So, if interested speak up, raise ur hand.
