Soccer is to the USA as vaginas are to BobFV1 we know it's there and that it is important to a lot of people, but we don't really pay much attention to it...
I played a couple pick up games..and it just showed me how out of shape I am in...My 9 year old plays and I like watching soccer is a pretty cool sport it takes talent to be good.....unlike a lot of our popular sports where if you are 8' tall you are a proffesional even know your talent is limited..or you are 325 pounds and are out of breath if you ever run more then 15 yards...but still considered an athlete.??
Why do sportscasters insist on saying "nil", baseball scores are five to zero or nothing. As soon as they throw up a soccer score the stupid fucks go all euro with their teo-nil crap.
I'm fairly pleaseed, wish I would have seen the game, actually. I played as a kid, and started again this summer for the first time in 15 years. I'm now fat and out of shape, so it is less fun than before.
I fell asleep after the RED SOX win and the Skankees win. . . Woke up and soccer was on, excuse me FOOTBALL, watched for a while and was impressed by the set-up for the first goal. Great to see the underdog US team beat the dominant Europeans at their own game. Let's not get a big head now. . . .
