Just wondering if any one on here is going out to Cooyar ? I'm thinking of going out just for the ride on Saturday and have a look as I can't sleep over Anyone care to join me ?
Dusty, I have to go over to Bundy on Saturday but would like to have a look, I haven't even heard of it here in Kingaroy. Hopefully Sunday won't be too late but I suspect if it's like any other rally I've been to, Sunday is nurse the sore head till it's safe to go home time. Is it a rally or a blues festival type of do? Cheers
The name is a bit misleading, it's not a blues rally, it's "Blue's" rally, named after an old club member.
Ah well, not to worry then. I like some good blues so at least I won't be missing out on something then. Thanks for the feedback fellas. Cheers
I attended the 05 Blue's rally at Jimboomba and they had 2 great rock/blue's bands. It moved to Cooyar in 06' but the band wasn't that good . Apparantly last years band was a great success ( I wasn't there ) but I don't know who is playing this year. It's not a blue's festival just a typical rally but they try and sign a band to keep it close to the name. Long live the blue's
I was talking to some locals over there a couple of months ago and apparently last years band was COUNTRY & WESTERN!!! :huh
Well I'm glad I wasn't there because I hate both COUNTRY and WESTERN .... Anyway this is a ride thread so I'm off bye bye now .
was heading home from dalby today thru cooyar mid arvo, heapsa harleys and trikes heading out, mostly really fat riders, road riders need to take a long hard look atem selves
Yes Phil, toooooo right. Dropped in to the rally and didn't see any other dirt bikes so I took off. I did find some nice back roads/tracks from Anduramba to Cooyar and then Mt Binga to Blackbutt S/F. Nearly lost my way in there :huh I should keep to the main tracks when riding alone , D'oh !
