The Great Basin™ by Giant Loop

The Great Basin is our latest new product in addition to our existing Giant Loop Saddlebag.

Great Basin = Larger Adventure machines and ALL road bikes that have buddy pegs and the capacity to carry a passenger, KTM 950/990/690, BMW X-Challenge, F650GS, F800GS, 1150GS, 1200GS, Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Ducati Multistrada (Monster and 1198 Superbike), and on and on . . . This is the missing link never before available - NO RACKS, NO HARDWARE, WATERPROOF BOMB SHELL

Giant Loop Saddlebag = Hard core offroad and dualsport thumpers, still the high performance choice for double-track, single-track forest and desert explorations.

We couldn't wait any longer, today the sun was out and the top 4" of dirt were thawed, our second prototype arrived and it's too cool to keep a secret any longer. We should be able to ship within 6 weeks, a few minor tweaks but it works incredibly well and rides dreamy. Fits any bike that can carry a passenger with NO RACKS or hardware. I'm guessing 80 liter capacity when fully rigged but will easily compress down to 40 or 50 liters. Totally waterproof 22 oz nylon shell, tougher than any thing available with 1050 Ballistic Cordura compartments inside. 2, one liter bottle compartments secure fuels or fluids. Custom stuff sacks included.















Very tough - doesn't hang up on sage and stays on tight.





Funny how it fits on every bike.

The golden question - don't know yet - we've spent a shiny bit so far. We think it will replace the rack/box situation for all bikes that have the capacity to carry a passenger.

I think you will sell a bazillion of those to the sport bike crowd. I have not seen a bag setup for those that makes much sense until this one.

Hey Stan - Thanks, they go into production on 3/16 and we'll have them mid-april ready to mail. We ship to the UK all the time in fact, Adventure-Spec received a shipment of our Giant Loop kits (for thumpers) and has that existing product in stock right now. What bike are you riding? - Oh I see 950 in your sig.

Have you guys figured out a price on this yet? This is exactly what I have been waiting for. I have been jonesin' for this since you showed it. The Jesse's are a nice setup but not that great for hard off road on the ADV. I NEED this thing. How bout just a ballpark so I can budget for it.
