Mother's Day Ride
Allonsye demonstrated his considerable on-the-fly GPS navigation skills by keeping us on some great back roads while riding an unplanned route that took us through Linville, Cranberry, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Boone and then for a stretch along the Blue Ridge Parkway as we headed back east. Great weather and very good riding!
Would have rather been cooking, cleaning, doing dishes around the house and possibly watching a chick flick with my wife and mother, but if I had to miss that -- this was a great way to spend the day! All in all it was a great weekend. I had a lot of fun hanging with EvanAdv and laughing at the Moran Nation. (I won't name names) but someone got drunk and fell into the fire. Evan has pics and it is hilarious. I encourage anyone here to come up next year. Hopefully we have better weather.
