I had a 2011 Superlow. Suspension was very poor. Even with upgraded shocks it was a hard ride. I hope they've made them better in the last few years. Then again, I'm sure they aren't designed with a 235lb rider in mind.

Good luck and hope you enjoy it!

Hex, you will enjoy the 883. It's a good all around ride. How much was the bottom line?

    Congratulations, Hexnut !!!

I just bought that color combination on a new Road King. I saw a Superlow at a dealer last week in that combination, and it looks terrific on a Sportster as well.

I had a couple Sportsters (one 1,000cc, one 883) - they were both fun! Gobs of torque. Post it here - hell, post it in every sub-forum... it's NEW BIKE DAY! :clap

    Enjoy!

love a nice sportster, they just dont fit me well at 6'2 and 3 large. haha

    whats not to love,

hydraulic lifters, belt that lasts 80k+, spin on oil filter, efi, and cheap plentiful second hand parts (both OEM and aftermarket) EVERYWHERE. oh, and they get rippin mileage.
