Yep. I,m a starter for this event. Leaving Central Coast at Sparrows Fart on the Sat and will attempt to get to Nimmitabell via Captains Flat. I will be staying at the Caravan Park as I love the Heat Lamps in the shower block............... Gotta love the "Stand up Comedy" on Sat night.....:huh
So I'm riding into Bombala yesterday morning and there's a big sign welcoming bike riders weekend 21/22 D'OH!!!!!!! Not a total waste, ducked over to Dalgety for the Snowy Festival where it was about 45 degrees! Nice 900k loop for the weekend, some great roads inland from Eden to Burrogate, follow the Towamba River up to New Buildings( yes, thats the name of the locality!) and then to Rocky Hall and Bombala. Not going back next weekend, of to the Jet boats at Temora, if I've got the date right!!
Dave its like me phoning Greg last Thursday and asking him if he wanted to go to the bike show on last Friday, we must be getting old.
My smartarse daughter sent me this teeshirt a couple of years ago.......there's also a thread I put on here relative to this.....I think its called " over the hill " or something similar......have a read.....ya aint there yet.... Unc
Did you end up going to this Dave? There pushing forward on the Neriga Rd we were talking to a road worker before we spotted you and anothe couple of guys and he was saying by July next year should be all completed.
Ah, thought I recognised someone!! No mate, me and mates went out to Temora for the jetboats, which are FRIGGEN AWESOME!! and then stayed at Boorowa Sat nite then on to Taralga for the machinery show then home thru Tarlo, man it was hot yesterday!!:eek1
