Only used once, now fluid has separated. Gaps in colunms. Is there fluid the only fluid that can be used or is there an alternitive fluid?

I also have the same problem. Interested in hearing what others have to say as well.

I would contact Motion Pro and see what they have to say. I've always had good success with their customer PR.

When not in use you should plug the lines back onto thenipples on the back of the unit to keep the fluid from taking on moisture which causes the separation in the tubes. Mine have mercury in them though I'm not sure about the newer ones.

My Motion Pro with mercury was always separating just as I was fine tuning things. I bought a Morgan Carbtune. It has steel rods that float in tubes. Works very well. Comes from England. I got it about a week after I ordered it.
