Wouldn't it be more fitting to make the 250's the main event, like they did to fuck up the 200? :lol3

Way way long time ago in the early seventies it seemed like the 250s was the premier class. The best riders rode 250s back then. Even the best local riders rode the 250 class. I think the Jammer won Daytona in 72.....on a Yamaha if I remember correctly. I might be wrong? It wasn't even called super cross then.

but back then it was 125's and 250's and they were 2 strokes.

the best riders rode 500's , open class , but they didn't do supercross , just motocross:gerg:grim

He's the GOAT, he must be all knowing right? :csm

Geez , and I was going to ask if all the commentary critics thought Ricky was doing a little better these days.
I guess some aren't happy unless they're complaining.

    I was wondering that too.

I watched most of the rebroadcast today. That 450 LCQ was the real deal those boys were getting it big time. I know the TV pictures are cheesy but..this was when Peick and Kiniry (who's an upstate NY rider) got really close during those last 2 laps. Check out Peick throwing the big 450 into the fray at all costs and coming off the bike, looks like the whole left leg is completely off.

    just after the checkered flag.

I missed Peick kicking his bike off the stand last night, or they didn't show it, but he seems to have cheered up once they told him he took second. Awesome finish and battle hats off to both of them.

I guess Bubba's pitch worked... I bought one today. It was OK, but I'll stick with regular Red Bull... only 2-3 a week though... that crap is expensive as hell. No wonder they can afford to fund two F1 Cars. :lol3

I think that flagger needed a change of undies after the race. That was a close one... could have been ugly. Those guys got balls... surprised they don't get hit by out of control bikes more often. I don't think I'd ever stand out there in the middle of the track with bikes going by me in all directions.

Red Bull came out with 3 new flavors last week. I got all 3 for $5 bucks just to try them.

#1 Lime flavor. :huh uh. OK

#2 Cranberry flavor. :umph Not so good.

#3 Blueberry flavor. :puke2Whooly shit was that nasty..

I like Total Zero best followed by the original.

That is a sweet picture from Racer X Flug!

No coment on Marvin's heal clicker when he won the 250 main? That was cool to see. Dean Wilson didn't seem to have the stamina to ride all out for the whole race.

I was more impressed by him not being the slightest bit out of breath at the end of the race, and commenting on how "easy" it was.

But still, cool to see these guys getting excited when winning. Musquin with Heel Clickers. Hahn with the knack-knack.

Who designs the other tracks? It seems they might want to contact Carmichael a bit more often. The fact that every racer said how fun the track was, the multiple lines that could be taken, and the phenomenal racing we got to see. Is this the nature of the more "open" concept track? Either way, great to see a race not decided after the 1st turn.

    Great racing!

I'm going to look at that front fork trick they use to help with the holeshot. Kinda like a strap for drag racing...

I was pretty bummed to see Millsaps have another off round. But I guess a dream season isn't made up of all perfect races. It will be interesting to see in the coming rounds how his knee is feeling (it really seemed to hold him back at Daytona) and how he responds to losing the points lead. If he can get back up to the top 3-4 and ride consistent, another mistake or bad round by RV2 is not out of the question.
