What do you suppose that big white box is on the rear?

I'm excited to see what the new Adventure 1090 R looks like now.

good to see they've kept all that matter, suspension and wheels.
From the look of the back tire I'd say the guy was having fun with her too!!! :D

So KTM melted down both old stock exhausts to make that new one. Impressive :D

The box could be data collection. Test points all over the bike end up there for recording.

    initial reaction? :puke2

    :nah

Is that an exhaust or a culvert? :huh Ugly ass windscreen in pursuit of eliminating turbulence?
Cool swingarm. I like the idea of a solo seat like the new Tenere or a GS.
Where's the skid plate going to bolt to? Is there a new luggage system with clips that attach to the bulbs on the backend?
I have a feeling it would look a lot better with a high fender because the beak is so angular...

I'll pass judgement after I see what it looks like ready for dirt :lurk

I was going to say fuel-cell as the 1290 version of that motor is going to be good for about 25mpg :lol3

Almost looks like he's sitting on a fuel tank. The black part underneath the seat looks pretty solid.

That white box on the back is clearly a flux-capacitor housing.:evil

+1 They built the Flux-capacitor first, went to the future and brought back the bike to save on development costs (Due to emission regulations building a time travel device is now cheaper than designing a bike).

Clearly a prototype but if not then fuel capacity is way down. :waysad

Interesting setup on the front calipers and axle.

    no beak!! :thumb

Don't care for the exhaust routing or huge ass can. :fitz
