Prairies to PEI...the road to perdition...or one ring to rule them all? Leaving tomorrow to sample lakes and rivers across North America from Saskatchewan to Prince Edward Island. Along the way, I'll stop to get married in Youngstown Ohio, then drop the wife off in Montreal and continue on to the Atlantic Ocean and then back to Saskatchewan. It's a shorter ride than usual but will have it's own brand of drama I'm sure. <a href="https://williampaulpatterson.smugmug.com/Travel/Bike-trip-2013/30210364_dmnwNT#!i=2599729367&k=x5jHH89&lb=1&s=A" title="Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug"><img src="https://williampaulpatterson.smugmug.com/Travel/Bike-trip-2013/i-x5jHH89/0/L/Total-L.jpg" title="Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug" alt="Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug"></a> [/url]
What a way to have a honeymoon! Now that's where a "good luck" message is really important! Have a good trip and stay safe along the way. Gary "Oldone" Grampas Lake Superior Ride Grampas National Monument Ride
Thanks man! Day one was a short 350kms as we got rolling at 7pm when the little lady got off work. I had ordered a new Saddlemen seat a month ago and it arrived at 6pm this evening...talk about cutting it close. I have shredded the stock seat over the last 5 years and it was hemorrhaging foam. Rolled into Weyburn Saskatchewan at 10:30pm, grabbed a few beers and hit the hotel. Tomorrow is an 800km run to the Black Hills, spending the night in the cheeseball town of Keystone, SD. Pics to follow when we get somewhere.
Day 3 down and out in Sturgis. Drive shaft started making a hell of a noise 60 miles north of Belle Fouche...had to get towed to Sturgis where they might not be able to service it for a week or two...looks like we might be flying east for the wedding...Damn!
Back in business...in St. John, New Brunswick headed for P.E.I. tomorrow with a huge report backlog! More soon...
