We've been thinking about this and talking about it forever so it's time to shuttup and get on with it! :D

DOG field trip to Tellico Plains, TN the 2nd weekend in November. Actual dates are Friday the 9th thru Sunday the 11th. We will be staying here: http://www.cycleresort.com/ which is owned by Mark and Renee and are super nice people. If I recall correctly I think Renee is even a dualsporter, and perhaps Mark as well.

This is nothing formal, I am not personally planning any organized rides, and everyone is responsible for their own safety. A few folks have already said they have some good routes for the area (so makes friends with them! :D ). This is more of a meet 'n greet. The DOG thread has grown alot and I'd like to meet everyone that posts over there. Let's make it happen and get one helluva turnout! I have even posted this over at dixiedualsport as well.

Unless someone really likes cooking, I'd say bring your own food, alcohol, and whatever else you need. I know for a fact that beer can be bought in town but not sure about liquor.

I would like to start a list of attendees just so I can let the resort know what's happening...I don't think reservations are needed but might not be a bad idea if you prefer a cabin, who knows? Not me, that is for sure.

    Am I missing anything?

Gam and Becca. In a cabin no less. I've never slept indoors on a motorsikel trip.

I posted this on the local sportbike boards where we have a good group of DS riders also. Hopefully we'll have a big turnout! :clap

I got my cabin reserved for Friday night on the 9th and Saturday night on the 10th. Is that what everyone else is doing?

    Yes.

You can pitch a tent. They do charge for tent camping but you get full advantage of showers.:rofl

Look forward to seeing you guys....

I am doing a cabin because I expect it to be cold in the mountains in November.

Plus, I am a puss when it comes to cold weather.:1drink

Tent camping is $12. I went with a cabin just because I didn't want to lug a bunch of shit up there.

Willy B, I really hope you can pull some strings with Wilma to be able to make this one...we have been talking about it forever dude. :ricky
