Has anyone tried using the Whelen Vertex lighthead as an auxiliary turn signal, say mounted on the hand protectors, mirrors or panniers?

It's a tiny LED module (7/8"), but from looking at a few YouTube videos, it packs quite a punch.

They have flashing and solid-light versions. The flashing one might draw LEO attention cause it looks kinda like a strobe. But I'm thinking you could wire the solid one into your existing turn signal to get it flashing at a normal turn-signal rate.

I have the BMW euro-version LED turn signals installed, so not sure whether two separate sets of LED would play nice with CANBUS.

    Thoughts?
