Assault on Tahoe II

By order of the Royal Austrian court KTM (kodi,tahoeacr, mrstahoeacr) the second annual Assault on Tahoe is hereby formally announced.


Date: June 17 - 20, 2010.

We realize this is Father's Day week-end. We don't have no stinkin kids .

What a great excuse for all you dads to get a week-end hall pass .
Looking forward to seeing everyone from last years event and all the noobs that will show up. And "as ordered by " no crazy unauthorized or dangerous riding the month before. I don't want to here "I broke something " as an excuse.

We are considered the South shore. East shore campgrounds are closest.

Open discussion on routes.
Friday maybe go into the pine nuts(mountains east of Gardnerville) then head North to Virginia City and loop back.

Saturday will go clockwise around the lake and return on the Genoa Peak trail.

Sunday ? how many going to stick around?

There will be a harder Advanced trail since alot have dropped down to little bikes.

I'm going to join the ranks of smaller bikes this year.
Leave the piggy Dakar at home, even with it's new Yamaha
front end and truck up the TE450.
Going to give those harder routes a try.

we plan to ride fri and sat; i did the sunday tour last year and those who haven't, you're missing out. i've been to tahoe half a dozen times, but only on that ride, i saw and enjoy the area the way locals do....

Well maybe I will have convince Minivan Mom to let me have the time off.

I said this last year and wasn't able to attend, but i'm IN!

I'll go tell the wife now what I'm doing for Fathers Day. That will give her a full 5 months to cool off.

Your coming up the month before to help set-up some more single track right? There is also about 6 miles of single track over off of Pioneer trail that I didn't use last year. It will be the beginning of Saturdays ride.

I'm thinking pine nuts Sunday.

Putting one of those big lights on the front of the new scooter? Thinking a short night ride this year.

I going to leave my bike there and go couple times before if you don't mind .
pine nuts sunday for sure ,friday we can go down a single track the is were that big open area is behind you house probably ( went i stay to check around last year) a loop and i want to ride up the stuff we went down last year on saturday after the look out place
Monday we can paly around you local trails and go home around 2 pm .

Friday we can do the same us last year with everyone no you think .
