I agree, the worse of it was that you can open this baby up at full throttle and a scooter was producing more noise. These pipes are straight from the R100 models of the 90's and complies with EU TUV regulations. When the pics were taken I have already been waiting for nearly 10 months for the rally pipes that was ordered. Here they were fitted and boy that sound, especially when you fire her up first thing in the morning.
You can use any BMW 247 frame, this will include any GS from 1980 to the Basic in 1995, R80ST or the later R80 and R100 Mystic. Normal road frames is not suitable.
Her is photo circa mid-70s. It started my addiction. I have no idea what it is. I had it between the ages of 8-12. I seem to remember it had a 5hp B&S with centrifugal drive. It may have been a 'Sears'? Anybody got an idea what it is? When I look at this photo, it reminds me of my Dnepr.

Ouch! :huh I always thought the Honda "F" bike bodywork was best in the naked early 80's superbike look. I debated getting the Euro "R" type bodywork for my 1100F at one time as a complete set. Great bike in either case.
