Took them on in what, monopoly, checkers, clue? How about a half marathon? Hell, if they played rugby against each other, the nfl team would get slaughtered.

Yeah, I saw him play for Counties Manukau v. Waikato in the NZ Provincial Champs.
He's good, but I don't think he's every played Super Rugby, so the fact that he got a NFL contract seems to undermine Hodag's argument. If they liked this guy, what would they make of SBW, Liam Messam or Steven Luatua?

Indeed. He seemed to be good rugby player on the rise but not a great one. I think Israel Falou would be a world class wide receiver...George North to for that matter.

    Does that mean:

    1. "samoans" is some kind of sport?
    2. Samoans don't play rugby?
    3. Rugby players have their own nation?
    4. All of the above?

So what does the number of Samoans playing NFL have to do with the number of Rugby players in NFL?

Yep, plenty of Samoans playing football but a lot of them are born state side with those born in the Samoan Islands or those born in New Zealand (of which there are many) playing Rugby. The thing about Adongo is yes he is big but not freakishly big for a rugby player and while he was good enough to play for Super 15 Rugby side he was not a standout.
I would have loved to see how some one like Ray Lewis would have done in Rugby with pure physicality.

Not really, I think he would have been a ferocious 7's player but would have lacked the nous needed for a world class 15's player. Would have liked to see him him clear rucks and think he would have been intriguing as a flanker none the less. Ray Lewis had rare physical qualities that would lead him to excel in what ever sport he chooses...not unlike Sonny Bill Williams.
Ray, if your reading this USA 7's needs you!:lol3
