My dealership is offering the new Super Tenere for $12,499 on the Yamaha Priority Delivery Program. This is an all-inclusive price unless you live in Texas and you would then have taxes and registration fees. I will have these on our website shortly.

I sold a considerable amount of FJR's during the same type of program so we are definitely well known. I sold one to MarkJenn that he rode home and wrote his story about.

If I can help any of you let me know via personal e-mail (listed below) and I will take care of those personally.

    Thanks,

The US site says coming in May 2011 as a 2012 model.

Waiting to see what the Canadian price will be.. if it's a the usual rip off, I may just have to head to Texas to buy me one!

Delivery starting in May. Naturally the dealer website is screwed up right now and won't allow orders to be placed, but we are trying every minute or two to get some in the pipeline.

Folks, this is a great price and Tony is a standup guy. When I bought my FJR from him (in 2005.... wow, has it been that long?) it was totally painless and he even trailered the bike up to Mena (a pretty good haul for him) to meet me at no charge.

I was just about to pull the trigger on a new BMW 1200GS. I really like the Yamaha build quality so now I really have to think about it. I wonder how I'd get the new Yamaha to NJ?

Do you think the S10 Accessories from Yamaha will also be available in the USA by that time too? It sounds great so you could be hearing from me too if I can't knock some sense into my head quickly, :rofl .

I would think that they will be available. Since the items are already in production for other parts of the world, they would just have to stock the warehouses here with some product before the bike arrives. If it's a new item that nobody has had before, I wouldn't count on it! :D Lead times from vendors are typically never accurate.

Gee, Tony. I'm probably going to have to give you a call. My local dealer seems to be unwilling or unable to work on price. Good thing you're only a day's ride away. Get on I-20, and turn left.
