We are currently just north of Lima, and plan on stopping there for a few days of some much needed moto maintenance. I would like to ask your opinion on the prices they have quoted below. I understand parts will be much more expensive in Peru than in the US, but I was surprised by the quote below. To compare, I was quoted less than half the price for the same parts for my 990 Adventure from KTM in Lima. These are prices for parts for a 2006 F650GS.

    Rear Sprocket 366,18 (Soles)
    Chain 707,08 ¨
    Front pads 554,16 ¨
    Rear pads. 280

If these are the normal prices, of course I will be happy to be able to purchase the parts and continue our journey. Thanks for any info.

Can you make it to Chile? Much better pricing and availability there. Dave
