Maybe what this place needs is a little more "STFU n00b," and a little less whining about the good old days? Is my 5 minute rule in effect?
Haha not me I am currently in N GA banging curves on my Sportbike Proof Wolf pen gap road GA 180 Y'all will have to make do without me until weeks end And BTW I am already a 'Jr' in real life
I was one of those that met you Jonathan. Are you giving up the DS riding and just staying with the sport bike? Getting something different?
Awesome! I talked to our mutual friend Cottontop this morning. He said he saw y'all this past weekend. Glad you are having fun! Oh and does that make KLRCaptain Roy III? :grin
Oh it has been. I rode deals gap twice ful tilt boogey and no cops. N GA looked deserted this morning when I headed out. I wouldn't ride the Sportbike until after the holiday was over. Rode some good stuff two up on the tenere over the weekend. K60's suck on pavement but are fantastic on gravel.
I bought this Vstrom so a buddy could come with us on our trips (I have an 07 Wee) but since he hasn't been able to I am going ahead and selling it to put towards a toy hauler.
Yea he rode with us Sunday and camped with us that night we grilled and drank a few beers, usual stuff
hey, STFU n00b! Aww fack just looked at the seniority list... heck , I got you by 17 years, go git me a sammich n00b. ^^^^^ this. Good one.
I wasn't one of those that you met. I think you will find that most of us would like to trade barbs face to face with you or anybody else. Hell, these bastards don't mind telling me regularly what a moran I am. Wait, you aren't a member of the 4F club are you?
One of these days we'll all get to ride together. He said the K60's acted about like you expected. A little squirrelly?
They did I altered my paved riding on them but they are great off road completely transformed the big pig. Actually it feels like a race horse off road now. That Penske rear shock has alot to do with it
I knew you were just joking! I had to say something.....I am trying to get my post count up. Cool. The Mefo's are a little iffy when pushed on the pavement, but I am used to them. DQ hates them. I have been thinking about my winter work on my bike and suspension upgrades is something I've kind of thought about. I may pick your brain about it sometime although when one buys a bike that's "Ready to Race", some upgrades aren't really worth it.
