ouch. and I feel sorry for myself (:ymca) every time I go out taking pictures and my right elbow ends up hurting from lugging that heavy damn thing around. I feel your pain, though only a little bit of it. but heck, you're still young! :gerg

Good day! I was able to ride with no problem at all, I was super tight for awhile and my ribs hurt everytime I went through the whoops because you have to pull back and wheelie but I was fine after awhile. NICE!

I never felt so worthless as when I owned my 1976 360 Husky and my riding buddy had a 370 Pursang, both bikes which had seen better days, and we were pretty evenly matched, and he bought a brand new 400 Magnum just like that one. I couldn't keep him in sight on a track.

Beautiful fall day here in the Northeast and I was able to put my socks on by myself this morning so what better reason could there be to go for a ride today?

The view out my office (trailer) makes it so hard to concentrate...

I recently move to CNY and am looking for reasonably close Vintage MX racing. Any input?

    BTW, I ride an 84 Husky XC250.

    Thanks

It's already on my list. So is Broome/Tioga. Anything else west of the Hudson?

the owner of this thread races in this district

    http://www.acrmx.com/index1.html - mostly northeast

looks like a lot of vintage riders and OG guys keeping mx the way it should be. i have never been to any of their events but it looks awesome.

Winchester mx in NH is going to have a 3 race series in NH for Vet/vintage bikes, probably far for you but a great facility!

AMA-District 34 has vintage classes and MSC as well, all these track are east of you (Albany and south) but I am sure there is AMA (Dist3?) around you.

Hurricane Hills in Pa. is a nice place as well as Evansville Pa. which is on our schedule.

You have to drive a bit but there are plenty of places to race!

Thanks. Evansville, Broome-Tioga & Southwick are on my list. Have to check out the others. Considering the ARHMA race at Unadilla too, although that one will get a bit pricy with a one race membership to ARMHA.
