SC State Ride to Lunch Thread

Hey Motogirl, met you at the lunch in Ridgeland several weeks ago. Am not riding tomorrow but can reccomend the Webb wildlife Management area at Garnet, sc. Follow Augusta Stagecoach Road( county road 25-20) about two miles West and the entrance is on the left. Very nice canopied oak tree road is the entrance. Nice roads in the park. Hope this is of some help. Hwy 321 out of Hardeville will get you there, or Hwy 119 out of Springfield. Garnet is where they intersect. Happy trails.

Pink Lady's future ride

Pink Lady forget the bikes Hurc838 was showing me this morning, you need one of these.

I love it! Believe it or not, the eyes, eyelashes, and the pink fur would have to go!!

An inmate in Charlotte is putting together a group buy on a tire changing tool.

I'm getting one, but if anyone else in SC wants one, I can pick it up for you and probably deliver if you don't mind waiting on my riding schedule. I'm in Charlotte all the time.

Sorry! I went back home to TN for the weekend. I haven't been able to ride a lot do to a this rain and it is killing me! I have a brand new DS helmet that I have been wanting to try out. I put a 12v socket on the bike to charge phones and GPS. I will be looking to ride any time this weekend though.

Saw this Smart car yesterday and stopped next to it for a quick pic. Thought it was hilarious that it only looks to be about 8" longer than the DR.

MotoGirl: I sailed off into sunny skies, then soaking rain, then drying sun, then more rain, then some but not enough, sun again. Soaked to the skin and had a great time riding the Webb Wildlife Management area. That place is a labyrinth and very nice. I am definitely not as nimble on a dirt bike as I used to be but the bike is covering for me pretty well. Great day of riding, sorry you missed it.

Maybe there will be some group interest next weekend...

Sounds fun! Knox (my bf) finally got a DRZ a few weeks ago. Today we did an easy/fast road trip to Tybee for nachos at Huc-a-Poos. Mmm.. I'm glad you enjoyed Webb WMA! What little we rode of it at the last lunch was very fun! I hope to go explore some more soon. How do you like the KTM? What size was it again? I am sorry that I missed some dirt riding for sure.

It's a 690. I'm slowing rounding it into shape with upgrades and accessories. If some of the 'locals' want to ride some weekend soon, I'm definitely up for it.

Wow! New rubber again? First a stick, now a nail? Where have you been riding so I know NOT to go there! :eek1
As for anything this weekend? There is the Columbia ride to dinner Saturday night. 5:00 PM at Mellow Mushroom in Lexington.

Any dual-sport riders riding this weekend? I got lucky and snagged a pair of Rev'It pants that I'm dying to try out! Looks like a nice weekend for riding!

Sorry, Motogirl...saw your message too late. Rode a lot this weekend but all on my sport bike. Could have easily swapped over to the dual sport today. We need to plan a little further ahead---or I do, at least. Even so, about 300 miles on the clock for Saturday and Sunday. Had a great time...

BBQ usually gets people out for lunch. Hopefully I can make it to the next one. I've missed quite a few.

I'll through Lone Star in Santee out there to get the conversation started.

Went to lone star a few years ago and it was very good, different but good. Won't be making it this Saturday. Work calls.
