Association of California Trailriders?

Does anyone here belong? Their website lists some organized dual sport rides but there isn't a lot of detail. Anyone have an experience to share?

Great bunch of people.

I'd say if you're up for a full D36 enduro on your plated bike, you're good to go.

Lots of trails, in places you would not likely find on your own, at an A or upper B level enduro rider skill level.

roll chart miles
actual miles and
Ivan miles

but Dons rides are some of, if not the best, dual sport rides if you like single track

you do need a partner and have skills...............this aint 100 miles in the dez its in the trees

I've been interest in doing an act ride for some time now, but I don't have any friends with plated bikes. I'm on a 10 530 xcw. I need a riding partner,who in?

I may go for Donner ride at the end of August, it was a blast last year.

I suppose I should get in touch with Don and check which rides are up and coming. I need to get an oversized tank asap.

So I paid the membership fee. Anyone interested in the July 28,29th trip? I want to try these rides out. I'll do the Donner trip as well. I've ridden on the train tracks from Donner to Applegate once already.

Looks like Don Ivan has closed down shop, no more ACT rides. Hope all is okay with Don and Karen!

Anybody know how to get in touch with Don? I sent him an e mail but got no reply. GREAT guy that truly loves the sport.

as far as I can tell, his email address hasn't changed.
he seems a little cryptic in his last message March 14th 2013 - - Are you on his mailing list usually?
