$30 + boredom = a "new" GS

Yep, it just took some sandpaper, aresol primer, paint and clear coat along with a slow day to make the GS go from black to yellow. Pretty good results I think.

Ya know, I did notice that it wanted to go faster on the way to work this morning.

If I'm lucky the yellow will be a caribou deterrent.

Yellow is always faster.... LOL!

Nope...I saved the original plastics. The ones I painted came cheap from Ebay.

Only if you paint your final drive or EWS antenna. Where is Friar with his recently repaired FD when you need him?

XLNT, that was the one thing I really wanted to do with my new GS. The available colors just didn't suit me. Next winter I plan to paint just the already painted bodywork. Of course there is the vinyl shrink wrap option.

I thought of that too....and now that I know I like the color, I may go that route for a more durable finish.
