$30 + boredom = a "new" GS

    Yep, it just took some sandpaper, aresol primer, paint and clear coat along with a slow day to make the GS go from black to yellow. Pretty good results I think. :clap

    Ya know, I did notice that it wanted to go faster on the way to work this morning. :evil

    If I'm lucky the yellow will be a caribou deterrent. :lol3

    Nope...I saved the original plastics. The ones I painted came cheap from Ebay. :D

    Only if you paint your final drive or EWS antenna. Where is Friar with his recently repaired FD when you need him?

    XLNT, that was the one thing I really wanted to do with my new GS. The available colors just didn't suit me. Next winter I plan to paint just the already painted bodywork. Of course there is the vinyl shrink wrap option.

    I thought of that too....and now that I know I like the color, I may go that route for a more durable finish.
