Got 'em. Shoulda got the 2013 Larges versus the medium. :/ They fit but are tight to get over my thighs/butt- and I should really exercise and lose some weight again. They are AWESOME! Talk about tough - and the air panels - wow they will flow some air.
Hey I sent you a PM.....If you are not happy with the fit I'm more than happy to send you a return label and get a larger size out (sorry I with I had some '12 larges though)
I bought a pair of the 13 pant size medium tall this summer. I have only worn them 6 times since I got them and I love them. The fit is perfect. To me the best gear is gear you don't notice. Thanks for a great product.
Thanks Ben! They are in the mail back to you. These are awesome pants. You did a great job with the design.
Thanks guys! Falcn..... Ill get the larges out tomorrow. For anyone interested HERE is a RR with the kind of riding I have put the gear through, a trip to Utah last month. Some random picture from the week, riding around the San Rafael Swell in Utah! Ben
Got em tonight! Fit is better getting them over my legs (my thighs are the widest part of my lower body) - waist cinches down enough for me to keep them up - so all is good. The additions on the 2013 are very nice. The piping is nice and bright in the flash - should be good for commuting at night. I like the belt loops particularly - I'll probably add a cloth belt like a 5.11 or something to the kit. Can't wait to try them on the Elefant and DR
FYI- Great Product! We had a chance to check out the Dubinky gear at the KTM Adv Rally in September. Product design looks great, functionality and materials are top notch. Designed by a rider for riders. Best of all Ben has put a lot of work into getting these made in the USA and has managed to keep the price very competitive, which is not an easy task.
Thanks you guys. It took a ton of work to find a good sewing factory and is costing more than overseas, but I am really proud I could keep these being Made in America. Falcn.... Glad the Larges fit better ADver's as always can use coupon code "ADVrider" at checkout for some additional savings!
Got my Pants today and they look really good. I'm going to try them out tomorrow. Fit is really good I got the xls
i'm proud to wear mine any time because it's made here. what else, i would want...the fit is already perfect. wait a minute, i want another pair.....ben, any chance you could produce another color, say a gray or beige..... me wearing a dubinky and the late kurt casseli
Thanks for the picture Joel, that is really cool He is a great rider, sad story....... I wish I could make some more styles/color's but it would take a lot of money, which Im short on right now
Hi Ben, just got my pants here in sunny Singapore few days back. Fits like a glove n construction is greatvkeep up the gd work. will wear it out on my next trip to get my friends to buy some.
Great!! Im glad they got there ok. I've never had a problem with any international shipments but they always concern me making it without any problems, so thanks for the update Ben
So glad I found this thread, after reading every post I'm sold! I currently ride a Harley so I'm 99.9% on the street but these pants with the armor additions are just what I've been looking for. USA made makes it even better. I do have a question, I would like to wear these as over pants most likely and was wondering how much bulk the hip armor adds. I wear a 36x32 Levi and was planning on getting the 2013 large. Ted Sent from my GS3
Ted, Thanks for the interest. They are not made specifically as an over pant, but if you select the right size they work well. The biggest problem as an over pant is if you are wearing boots and have large feet you may not be able to get the pants off without taking off the boots. There is a very generous opening on the back of the pant leg, but with larger boots I dont think they would get over the boots. That is the biggest problem you will face as over-pants. The Forcefield armor is about 3/8in thick and really molds to the body so and I dont see it posing any problems. This is the same armor most manufactures use, including for street apparel. My suggestion for sizing is to measure your waist with your jeans and see what measurement you get. Send me a PM if you have any sizing questions and I can help you out. Thanks!! ben
because i just ordered a pair of 13 and would like to try out the pants. these pants look awesome and made in USA so how could i not get them! Jai
Jai, Thanks! I got the order and will be sending it out later today when I get back from riding in Utah Ben
