I have a XR650L I will probably bring up in the truck. Beer is no problem - my buddy has a brewpub here in the city. I can bring a variety of 5gal. kegs of the house brews for folks. Count me in - I'm stoked! Thank you.

Anyone going to do any rides before then? I pretty much have every other weekend available starting 2/22-2/23.

I would like to do an overnight trip soon if possible; let me know if anyone is available to meet up at one of the staging areas off Elk Mountain Rd for a day ride (or where ever...It's the only place I know). Shoot me an email or PM.

    Cheers!

Please put me on the wait list for this event. I have heard a lot of great things about it from folks I respect.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better group of people and a fair amount of girls who ride show up too. It's an ego-free zone of great people and all terrain for any level of challenge you are looking for and the food is awesome!

Just to let everyone know I appreciate your posts indicating
    you're attending the rally.

When we get confirmation of the campsite reservations (should be in mid March)
I'll ask everybody to send in their payment and it'll be a first come, first serve
for spots. So keep an eye on the thread.

Don't worry about missing out though. If history indicates anything it'll
take a couple of weeks to fill up. But I can't guarantee that though.

We're just a little over two months now. Anybody up for a recon ride
in late March or early April? :ear

Im down, clarence, Gautam, and myself. Grif will probably go too. The question is big bike or small bike or both... What's the "deal" with non-plated bikes up there? I got me a 2 smoker!!!! :rofl

Last year there was at least one 2T bike. While it's not technically legal to ride out of camp on it, you likely could get away with it. Especially if you left with a group of plated bikes.

I'll talk to the missus and I guess we'll see.

We'll have a 9 month old kid by that time, so who knows. :)

There was enforcement out there last year.

I had the 2T. Better with a plated bike at that spot Id say.

Even if the Fuller grove group site is closed Oak flats will be open. It's up around the other side. It's a huge area, the last time I checked it's free and as long as the basin is open you can ride right out of camp to access the trails. We've been getting some rain up this way, if I can find someone local to ride with me today I'll ride up to Pilsbury and check it out.
