Just arrived in Waynseboro, VA on my 04 1150 GSA. The 600 miles from Michigan wore the rear TKC more than expected. I thought it would last for this ride but maybe not. Going to ride the blue ridge parkway north to south this afternoon and then tomorrow.

Any recommendations of where to get a dual sport tire installed somewhere along the BRP? Preferably a Tourance, K60 or similar.

    All help appreciated.

Check with Frontline Eurosport near Roanoke, VA. (540) 387-9780

EDIT: Frontline is closed today. Check with Star City Powersports also in Roanoke (540) 366-8500

If you think you can make it the whole way to Asheville, Eurosport Asheville is good. (828) 255-6600

You might try Fun Cycles in Valdese, NC. 828 874-4680. They are 40 mins off the Parkway.

I have a couple of take offs in my basement. You have to go north though. I am 20 minutes from Skyline Dr in Culpeper, VA

Thanks for all the leads guys. Staying in Roanoke tonight. Going to call around in the morning. Hopefully someone local has something. I can probably do another 500+ miles though. No threads showing yet!

I'll be up to the va section of the BRP Thurs if you strike out elsewhere. Can pick one up in Greensboro at BMW dealer and bring with me.

Looks like Frontline Eurosports is only 6 miles from my hotel. I will try them first in the morning.

While in Roanoke, hit Mill Mountain Coffee for a really good cup of Joe. Great people. Also insider a couple of hot dogs at the Texas Tavern if you are still around for lunch.

I am at Frontline right now. What a terrific place.

Greeted as soon as I got off the bike - "we'll get you back on the road for sure". Brought me back to where they store the tires to pick out what I want, cup of coffee, great conversation about riding the BRP. And they also have a gorgeous showroom and immaculate service area.

I rolled in at 9am right as they opened. It's 9:30 and my bike is already in the service area.

    Thanks all.

Glad it worked out for you. BTW there is no BMW moto shop in Lynchburg. Hammersley is a car shop only as far as I'm aware, and I live here, so.
