You know how you get sick of drizzly, overcast, chilly weather? Honestly, you'll find you have the SAME reaction to constant sunny, wonderful weather.

Seriously.

When we actually do get some rain, and the otherwise normally brown hills of southern California turn green, we look at them and say, "Wow, it looks like Scotland!"

Plus, Lisa and I descended from Scottish and Welsh stock, and we've never seen the homeland outside of an 8-hour layover at Heathrow (which was the best layover ever, Ray and Paul). We're both anglophiles too. It's a disease. Never chose to have it. Just do.
