Who the hell are these guys? We are two guys (2sos & Ro0K) who own and operate DR350's. We wanted to update our bikes with some modern equipment and add some versatility to the ~25 year old design. We figured that some of the other inmates riding DR350's might want to do the same. The Problem The aftermarket support for the DR350 is very limited. Yes the bike is going on 25 years old, but why not bring some of the life back into these bikes with some affordable and well thought out options? The Answer Pissed off that the aftermarket community had all but abandoned us we did what any inmate would do. We started designing, cutting, and breaking metal until we ended up with a design that would make us proud. Available Parts Update: Were working hard to bring more products to you guys. Thanks! We're pretty excited to finally release this stuff to the rest of the community. It's been almost a year in the making. We have quite a bit more to show but it really depends on how well these first items sell. All sales are going directly back into making more parts. I don't want to over promise so for now I'll just say we are trying to fill in the gaps the mainstream aftermarket left.
How's about aluminum frame guards, Jesse used to have them listed on his website but I haven't seen them available for a while. N3 with MiniN3

Not sure I'm in the market for an airbox or rack, but have to say, your workmanship and designs are excellent!! Congrats on what you've accomplished. Since you're in the mood to make stuff for the DR's, how about some side racks like Wolfman used to make? It's my understanding they are no longer making them and never did offer anything for the 350. I've thought of buying some for the DR650 and seeing if I could make them work. I'd like something to mount soft bags to, like the Wolfman Expedition bags. Just a thought, but it might be one of those items others want as well. Ride safe.... Frank
I'd definitely be in the market for a rack with pannier supports, either for bolting Pelican cases to or strapping soft bags to (preferably Pelican cases, but either would be great). I am still mulling over whether to commit to your current offering, though. I want pannier capability, but what you guys have made looks so well-built that I might just try to get by with a top box only. I'll try to decide soon!
Re: pannier supports I plan to set my bike up for soft panniers but as low and far forward as possible. Most seem to be positioned to allow space for a passenger but I'm interested in the best balanced for solo use.
I'd prefer the same. My wife flat out refuses to ever ride on the back of the DR, and there's not that much extra room on the seat (or extra power from the engine) to allow it anyway.
Hey guys, We are really getting some great feedback and support from you all. That is why we love this community and this forum. Because we are getting such a strong interest, let me tell you a little more about myself, Brian(2sos), and Robert (Ro0k). Robert and I really started getting into the dual sport scene about 3 years ago, but we have both been riding motorcycle of some sort since we were kids. We both graduated from Georgia Tech as engineers about 7 years ago, and like all of you we share the passion for riding and motorcycles. We also really enjoy engineering and building things. That being said, we keep running into things that we need/want for our bikes that just aren't available or are outrageously expensive. So one thing led to another and we started designing and building parts. Also, I just happen to be the production manager of a mid level sheet metal fabrication shop so I have access to a lot of cool "toys" (CNC Laser, CNC Brake Press, CNC Waterjet etc). I also know how to make products that are low cost and easy to produce. We have been trying to decide if we should try selling these things for a while. So that is why we started this thread to try and get an idea for how many people may want some of our designs. We want to offer great product ad at a great price. We both still have full time jobs and we don’t expect to get rich doing this. It is just something we both really enjoy doing. All, the money we get from selling the racks and airboxes will be put into these other projects. So we thank everyone for their support. So here are the current DR350 projects that we are working on 1: Rack: 100% Complete 2: Airbox: 100% Complete 3: Aluminum Frame Guards: 85% complete (will post pictures later today) 4: Skid Plate with hard mounting points: 75% complete 5: Rear Aluminum Caliper Guard: 95% complete (need to have them anodized) 6: Pannier Frames System: 25% complete (for soft and hard panniers,low cost) 7: Aluminum Panniers: 50% complete (Low cost, water tight, keylocked, quick disconnect) 8: Tool tube brackets for rack: 60% (very low cost addition for rack) 9: Koplin upright fuel tank bracket: 90% complete (Carry koplin fuel tank in the upright saves rack space) 10: Swing arm Reinforcement Bracket 90% complete ( Cut and formed ready to be welded) 11: Lowering links: 95% complete (almost half the cost of Kouba links) 12: 12v Plug and Bracket kit: 80% complete (Mounts to handlebar mount, need to find a cheaper 12v plug) 13: Front Fender Reinforcement Bracket: 15% complete (Carry the load of fender bag) That’s it for now but please keep your ideas and suggestions coming! The frame system we are designing that is made to bolt to our rack will allow for our aluminum panniers as well as soft bags like the Wolfman. It will offer several mounting points for soft luggage. When I get a working model I will post pictures. I just wish there was more time in the day for us to work on all of these so we could offer them sooner.
