Very cool! Two questions: How much? Will it power enough to charge as well?

PS Now if you could find the same thing with a mini-USB end on it, that would kick butt! Alternatively, a 6-10" USB cable would do.

I don't have the pricing yet. It should be around $20. Their sales guy is on vacation. It will power enough to charge.

I'm thinking of selling it as: usb cable only, powerlet+usb cable, sae+usb cable.
Or you can buy the powerlet plug separately and install it onto the cable yourself.

I will find out the amp output on Monday.

Super. Selling it predone, or at least being able to get a powerlet plug from the same place would be handy.

Be sure to post back when you have those for sale. I'll be ordering a couple for sure.

Ok. Due to many requests I'm now taking preorders. This will also help me predict the demand and know how many to order on Monday. Thanks.

    Hi,
That seems to be what I am looking for.
so I can plug my ipod/iphone directly into your usb plug for charging without frying them.

Basically, anything that you could charge through a laptop/pc can be charged using your cable. correct?

If so, i'll take one, maybe two.
We're close by. I wonder if we've met before. Thanks!

That would be an added bonus, but I dont leave anything to chance with electrical and unplug things before leaving the bike for too long. While riding I leave the GPS plugged, but even extended periods I unplug that.

The unit itself wont draw on the battery without something plugged into it.
