MB: Troy, we have been retired for years, and yet we are better paid and have more sponsors than most of the pretenders on the grid.

TB: Sounds about right. Let them eat cake.

I was hoping to see a wider variety of classes this year, such as Supermoto or Superkart. Those were lots of fun to watch. I would really love to see side car racing at Laguna.

    So far, it looks like:

    Pro SuperBike
    Daytona SportBike
    Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series

I remember going to hangout at a local Supermoto race back in 04 and this kid was tearing it up, PJ was so fast as a kid. Seems like a real nice guy, we have a lot of mutual friends and he was sponsored by my old employer.
I think he is good, but likely too late for MotoGP, maybe a WSS front-runner with a win here and there, and then WBK. But really doubt he'll make MotoGP, though hopefully I am proven wrong.

I am hoping he can get that win or two you mentioned. I think he could have a lot of success in world supers. I'd say this season is a success so far. He's been impressive enough to get a shot and I'm sure he'll fare better than Superglue did. :rofl

I am always baffled about SuperGlue, I find it hard to find someone so good at SS and was so bad on a WSBK, and pretty much a failure on Moto2. I thought he would be a threat for a world title in Moto 2 by the end of his second year (which he did not even make), and winning a race here and there on the tracks he knew the first year.
Either way I do watch every WSS and root for PJ.:clap

Yea, it has to be incredibly frustrating for a good rider like Geoff (and Aaron) to be in this situation.

Erik had to know what kind of difficulty they'd face; maybe he underestimated it a little, but not by this much. The only plausible explanation I can come up with is they expected lousy results and chose to compete anyway (maybe as directed by Hero who's footing the bill). Meanwhile, back in Wisconsin, EBR is developing a new model specifically for WSBK competition that (hopefully) we'll see next year.
