The nice thing down here is YOU get to decide how much risk you want to assume for yourself instead of some rules IMPOSED by others (some people are willing to accept more risk and some people are willing to accept less... that's perfectly normal).... But, since the imposed rules are not really enforced, most everybody does what they please, so It is us riders who make it more dangerous by riding like hooligans...
I've read plenty of RR on here of people who rode through Latin America obeying the Speed Limit (whatever THAT is ) and had a great time also...

Interesting question....All I can say is that , I dont know about the rest of the Southamerican riders, but after seeing 4 hs of "TrueTV" I' m very concern of crossing Rio Grande in NORTH direction.....


That being said, I rest my case and leave the keboard in order to eat an asado and taste a good Argentinian Malbec...
