Took a walk to the mailbox today, it's stiff but getting better with movement. I think I'll be riding soon.

Tukata, mine did the same thing last year. Melted the air box before I could get it put out.

Oh yea, my effort in street trim but for up there I would kit it out with some massive ATV type tractor tires.

Fun for around town but it won't make it rain mud like that KTM :deal.

Going up to ATL to visit the inlaws next week. I'll haul the KTM up and plan on running Highland Park on Fri 8/2. Anyone what to run along so we can do some 4's & 5's?

    Don't fret

I'm probably doing a full seal kit this winter.
Might as well go through it all and lock it up for another 52k

I put new points on my stock fuel pump but I think the pump itself is bad. I got a Facet this weekend, just need time to put it on. I am 99% sure this solves my issue. I haven't ridden in weeks other than short jaunts on the Duke. Hoping to change that this weekend.

Props to Spacelord for checking his fuel pump out for me. Cheers.

not to thread jack but Flux here is the photo I was supposed to send you showing the plate and where it fits in the groove in the pump:

[IMG]you can see where the flat part of the plate opening fits into the groove on the pump shaft. Actually it's hard to see but when you get home, the pump shaft has a groove in it, and the flat part of the plate cutout fits in the groove. it'll make sense when you look at it. Mine wasn't seated in the groove, and won't work till it's seated. I plugged mine into the power (white connector) and turned the key on and hit the bar switch and it hummed on/pumped up and down for a few seconds and turned off just like it should. 10k miles and my points were shot. In the near future I'll probably go Mikuni but for now it's good to go. Let's go riding!
